About Pearl
Her name is a pun on the famous tea 'Earl Grey', I came up with it out of the blue and I LOVED it

Pearl is from a rich family, which got rich from trading spices centuries ago. They still own some plantations all over Equestria. No slaves, the workers are well paid. It's a very friendly family (: They derived from England (or whatover the Equestrian version of England is) and all talk with an English accent. Pearl is their introvert daughter, the geeky girl who loves to read, daydream and be by herself. Pearl ADORES tea. She knows everything about tea, gets crazy over tea, collects all kinds of tea. She drinks tea all day. She also has a collection of tea pots and cups. She also likes vintage clothing and accessories. Her favorite colors are pale green and pink and polka dots are her favorite print. Her favorite part of the year is autumn, but she also really likes winter.

Her head accessory is based on the lid of a teapot. Her cutie mark is a teabag with a heart shape (either ones). She wears a scarf because I taught it fitted the image of a tea freak cx Her tail is formed like the spout of a teapot. Her mane has to look like a handle, but I'm not really sure if I managed to do that She wears pearls around her tail and as earrings. Her legs are longer than average and slender. She talk with a very soft and gentle English accent. If she hears the word 'tea', she screams with joy xD
